When the Mediterranean meets the Pacific “Umi, which in Japanese means “sea”, recalls the harmonious union between our Mediterranean sun and the versatility of Chardonnay.

A refreshing wine of great sapidity and harmony, born from a passion for sushi combined with the Mediterranean tradition of eating raw fish.


Intense aromas of mimosa and exotic fruits such as mango and banana. Clean and crisp on the palate with a delightful, persistent finish.


  • Grape: Chardonnay

  • Geographical production area: Monteiasi, Montemesola and neighbouring provinces of Taranto

  • Altitude: 20 metres a.s.l.

  • Production process: Machine harvested, soft pressing, fermentation in stainless steel vats at a controlled temperature.

  • Storage: In stainless steel vats “sur lies” (aged on lees) for two months.

  • Food pairing: Sushi, sashimi, appetizers, fish, fresh ricotta, fresh and soft cheeses.
