This “Selection” line wine is the product of an ideal combination of grape variety, soil and microclimate. Selected grapes from the best sites produce expressive, authentic and complex wines.
Grape variety: Pinot Bianco/Weissburgunder
Cultivating area: Porphyry and calcareous soil near Bolzano at 500 m a.s.l. (1640 ft)
Harvest date: Early to mid-September
Vinification: After a gentle pressing, the must is stored and fermented in stainless steel tanks. The wine ages then for at least six months in French barriques.
Color: Brilliant straw yellow with hints of green
Aroma: Scents of Golden Delicious apples, pear and white peaches, melon, pineapple and pomaceous fruit
Flavor: Elegantly fruity and powerful. Crisp, showing a pleasant acidity and rich mouthfeel.
Food pairing: Enjoy as an aperitif or with asparagus, light fish or pasta dishes. Pairs excellently with poultry and vegetarian dishes.
