Negroamaro wine I.G.P. Salento

Thanks to a meticulous care in the vineyard, this symbolic vine of Salento, with its unique enveloping fruitiness, perfectly pairs with land dishes and recounts the distinctive style of Coppi wines. The name refers to the consistency of the skin of the Negroamaro grapes.

Yield per plant: 1-4 kg approx
Planting year: 1995
Harvest: second half of September, picked by hand
Vinification: a production which, respects and enhances the features of the Negroamaro grapes which are defined well with their tannic structure and with more color by maceration of the skins. Each step takes place at a controlled temperture
Ageing: at least 6 months in steel and 6 months in the bottle before sale
Annual production: about 100,000 bottles
Serving temperature: 18-20°C

Tasting Notes

Colour: a bright, intense red
Bouquet: finely aromatic and fruity, which is recognised as a characteristic of these small black berries, persistent
Palate: dry, full, quite soft and fruity, balanced
Alcohol: 13.0% vol*
