The origin of its name comes from the white snow covered peak of the Gran Sasso Mountain (Cima Bianca=white peak) which recalls the freshness of this white wine, produced from typical white grape varieties of Abruzzo region. This blend is intended to emphasize the most typical aspects of these varietals by expressing its fruity character and great freshness.
The alcoholic fermentation takes place in steel tanks by controlled temperature, for about 8-10 days. Delicate aromas on the nose, which recall those of flowers, fresh and vibrant. Delicate in the mouth, plenty of lively fresh fruit and penetrating flavour.

Municipality/area of production: Roseto Degli Abruzzi/ Abruzzo Region.

Vineyard: our Fosso Corno Estate is located in Roseto Degli Abruzzi and covers 30 hectares on a single hill, facing the Adriatic Sea. We grow Char- donnay and Sauvignon Blanc grapes since 9 years, using the Guyot-system.

Harvest: the harvest normally takes place in the period from the middle to the end of September.

Vinification: after gentle pressing, the prime must undergoes cold static decanta- tion. The alcoholic fermentation takes place in steel tanks controled temperature between 14° and 16°C, for about 8-10 days.

Winemaker’s notes: straw yellow colour with light golden hints, delicate aromas, which recall those of flowers, fresh and vibrant. Delicate in the mouth, yet plenty of lively fresh fruit and penetrating flavour.

Pairings: ideal companion of mixed salads and first courses, delicate sea dishes and grilled fish.

Ideal serving temperature: 10°–12°C
