Grapes: Barbera, Bonarda, Cabernet Sauvignon

Still red wine aged in large wooden barrels. Fruity nose, great body and good freshness, with hints of pepper and spice.

Combinations: Stewed meats, Red meats

Combining tradition and innovation. A careful mix of local flavours and international taste. The skilful fusion of three different grape varieties (Barbera, Croatina and Cabernet Sauvignon), combined following a secret – and jealously guarded – family recipe, creates a wine where the freshness and rusticity of traditional grape varieties complement the richness and elegance of the Cabernet Sauvignon. Spicy aromas of pepper and cinnamon give way to the softness of ripe tannin and intense red fruit flavours. The founder’s wine – the first bottle produced by the winery that has always been synonymous with Luretta.
