The 2015 vintage of Selvanella was considered an excellent result thanks to impeccable grape quality and proper weather conditions.
Winter was fairly mild with just a few cold days at temperatures below zero. Very mild spring showed medium-high temperatures that fostered regular budding. The summer was excellent, with little rainfall and high temperatures in July and August, balanced by a good day-night temperature range.
The vintage can therefore be classified as of the highest quality. A vintage that showcases more than in other years the traits of the Sangiovese grape.
