Since we have been living on this land for generations, the characteristics of our people and the specific traits of the grapes have become increasingly similar until giving life to a single identity. The second child of the Pignoletto family coming onto the stage is this crystal-clear “Don Giovanni”, whose great finesse and seductive power persuades all the senses with graceful and captivating ways. In this version, the essence of freshness, youth and nonchalance blend with the deep emotions it is able to give us.

PRODUCTION AREA: Tenuta Merlotta Colli d'Imola

LONGEVITY: 2 years

ASPECT: Intense and bright straw yellow.

TASTE: Good structure, appropriate smoo- thness. Its well-balanced acidity and sharp sapidity make it very pleasant on the palate. Convincing due to its distinctive elegance and persistence.

AROMA: An impressively wide-ranging bouquet dominated by fruity and floral notes with a clear-cut and distinctive personality.

SERVICE: 10-12°C

 

WINE-MAKING TECHNIQUE: After careful selection, grapes are harvested, then slightly pressed and gently conveyed to the press. Only the first pressing must is submitted to fermen- tation at a controlled temperature. Ageing sur lies follows taking advantage of the natural lysis of the yeasts’ cell walls that goes on for 60 days.
