Type of wine: Red dry

Location of the soil: Hills at 270-320 mtrs from the sea level, south-west exposure

Type of soil: Calcareous marls and rich of microelements such as boro, magnesium and manganese

Varietal/Grapes: 100% Nebbiolo

Winemakking: Handpicked with accurate selection of the grapes, followed up by a delicate crushing-destemming. Traditional vinification and maceration for at least 20 days with fulling and gentle wetting of the hat.

Alcohol content: 14.5% vol*

Ageing and Refinement: 24 months in oak small barrels and additional refinement in the bottle before the release

Colour: Ruby red with garnet reflections

Bouquet: Complex, intense with balsamic, spices and red fruit notes. 

Flavour: Austere and persistent on the palate, it shows the classicism of the Cru.

Best served at: 16°C
