Negroamaro is the most typical grape variety of Salento on the southernmost part of Apulia region and has drawn great interest thanks to the character of its wines. Rivera’s modern winemaking results a fresh and balanced red wine with bright aromas of dark berries and long aftertaste. Serve at 16-18 ° C, denotes great pleasure and versatility in combinations.
- Variety: 100% Negroamaro
- Grape harvest: Between the first and second week of September. Vineyard yield: 80-90 q/ha
- Wine making: Maceration for 7-8 days at 25°C with frequent pumpovers.
- Aging: 9 months in glass-lined cement vats.
- Tasting notes: Deep ruby red; emphatic bouquet of wild dark berry fruit, with notes of black liquorice; fruit-rich palate with excellent structure.
